The Humanitarian Crisis in Yemen
Sally Kohn: The consequences for the civilian population in Yemen have just been absolutely catastrophic. She says a blockade on Yemen's land, air, and sea ports is more similar to an extremely brutal version of U.S. sanctions policy. At least over 20 million Yemenis dependent on foreign aid, she says; you can have famine like conditions for hundreds of thousands. "It's one of the most horrific crises in our lifetimes," writes Kohn.
