Ukrainian officials told the Washington Post on Thursday that Ukrainian forces have started firing US provided cluster munitions at Russian soldiers in southeastern Ukraine. Last year, the White House called the use of cluster bombs in Ukraine a potential war crime, but President Biden signed off on the delivery of the civilian killing munitions earlier this month. The Pentagon is claiming that the munitions they are sending to Ukraine have a dud rate of 2.35%, which is higher than 1%. However, New York Times reported that the rate will likely be 14%. It could even be higher.
