Is Black Marxism Essentialist?

There's a particularity to black nationalism, which is worthy of discussion. But I just very rarely think the right questions are being asked of black nationalism. It's still important to think about whether or not it's essentialist to be able to understand if or not it will move beyond our contemporary condition. And there's a reason why the Panthers would call them pork chop nationalists because reality is there's not much more that we can get from it.
