The Importance of Japan in NATO Security
Japan has become significantly more security orientated state than it was. It is only really starting to take on a NATO dimension, since Russia's invasion of Ukraine. And because Japan is now thinking about having a Russia question, that puts it in quite a similar position to the United States and those European states most focused on China.
