What Occupies Mind-Wandering?

Mind-wandering is keeping us busy for about half of our waking hours and it takes place on this collection of neural structures we call the default mode network. What occupies mind-wandering are maybe three types of big processes. One is about the self, a representation of yourself, predictions about how you might react. The third aspect is what I mentioned before, the generational activation of associations running all these predictions and simulations so we can be ready for future scenarios.
