I think that when we narrow the conversation too unnecessarily, we're talking about a very small, small group of people who could conceivably be in the tear of social power. We have this tendency within debate culture towards sing these extreme examples because they can help, sometimes provide clarity. I'd argue the vast majority of people who experience the a sort of online shit gets some degree of dramatized from it. And then the moral calculus is how much trauma are we willing to inflict in exchange for what amount of social progress? Can we determine what the ratio is and try to figure out what we're willing to accept and what we're not?
