Is There Platonism in the Tarot?
Early tarot decks were they contained the four suits from like standard playing card decks. They also had a special fifth suit, which is what we call the major arcana now. And I do think that those, like the fifth suit especially, would have contained figures and ideas that would have been particularly interesting or relevant to Italian nobles.
