The Role of Preditors in an Eco System

Eco systems can be really bigit. They always forget that any functioning ecosystem has predators, and that a competition, including a being eaten, is part of any healthy ecosystem. And one of the things that we've always thought about at eclipse is, what would be a predator in our eco system look like? A company that decided that they wanted to grow through gobbling up multiple small companies and grow there technology base very rapidly at relatively low costs.
