The Moral Imagination
Where the Wild Things Are
In the Pinocchio stories, Colaudia wants his child readers to understand that being a good boy or girl means being in a proper relationship to one's parents. In the end, it's an affirmation of the inherent goodness of human beings even though he falls into one bad situation after another.
