Sunlux's sound is at the heart of what Sunlux does as a band. The key to this cue was finding a sound that was going to in some ways evoke Hong Kong cinema but not steal. Ravec played some really tasty slow bass lines like this one. And where we wound up with it after speeding it up and working with it a bit are sort of the primary thrust of this cue.
