Are grammar schools good for some and bad for most people? Can education solve inequality? Are teaching unions an obstacle to reform? Do exams work? Yes, they do work, but I think they work much less well than they used to. What is the role of technology in education? If it helps the teacher, great. But it doesn't replace teaching.
