"I tend to either shrink or react too strongly to the way that people who have been conditioned as men carry themselves in a room," she says. "It's something just that I struggle with that men, not men, but like the male act is just hard for me." Her father didn't get to learn how to take care of people when his mom was bedridden and he would give her mouthwash rather than follow it up by giving her meds. She also watched him try to fix an elevator while they were rehearsing one time.
