Is There Already a Housing Shortage?

Experts tell you we need about 900 thousand to one point five a million homes for sale to be in a quote unquote, normal market. But i want to caution you, because it depends who's data you're counting or looking at. Forty percent of the homes in the country are paid off. And get at's what people with paying off mortgages tend not to go into foreclosure. If only 60 % of the people have mortgages in the first place, these people are going to hoard their houses.
