A lot of people claim that the lats are one of the prime movers in the bench press and that like having weak lats could severely limit your bench press strength. seeing virtually no EMG here like there's a very little activation going on this argument you're trying to make is relatively nonsensical so for example I wrote an article a while back called lats and the bench press much to do about very little.
