Voting Rights Act - It's Cool in 2022, Right?
The Supreme Court heard oral arguments in a case earlier this month that has the potential to further gut the already crippled Voting Rights Act. Georgia has emerged as a sort of a purple battleground. Joe Biden won there in 2022. The Senate seats that were won in 2022. That in turn spurred attacks by Donald Trump and the creation of the what is it called the election integrity act, which restricts drop boxes. It gives more power to the legislature over elections.
