Rawlsian Liberalism and the Cultural Left on Moral Questions
I think alarms were raised about this immediately after the last election based on, as you point out, exit polls. I can understand at that stage having some disillusionment with the Democrats. Part of what Rawlsian liberalism does is it, it, you know, Rawlsian liberals wouldn't put it this way, they wouldn't say it's a reduction. But people who are religious and who go through the process of being sort of transformed from religious people to an ethnic group feel like their identity has been stripped away.
