Part of what Rawlsian liberalism does is it, it, you know, Rawlsian liberals wouldn't put it this way, they wouldn't say it's a reduction. But people who are religious and who go through the process of being sort of transformed from religious people to an ethnic group feel like their identity has been stripped away.
