Leonardo's Paintings - The Most Remarkable Story Ever

The only girl in her family with three brothers, Leonardo was educated at home by a governess until she was about 10 or 11. She grew up largely in a very big grand gothic mansion called Crookie Hall in Lancashire. Her paintings many years later are reflecting what she saw and what she knew in that childhood. And I think from the start, there was a sense for her of being excluded, being on the outside.
