When you create a public key and a private key for a website, that's what's considered a website being signed. And that way, if an nefarious actor was able to inject the fake IP address of fake facebook.com, it would not be able to decrypt the information because it doesn't have the public key there. So I can for a number of years has been trying really hard to get more basically since 2010 to get as many people to move over to this public key cryptography methodology as possible. Even the country code domains, you know, like TV for Tuvalu, some of those are not signed.
