The Importance of Being Friendship

A lot of their friendship is based on her having him on a pedestal and blowing smoke up his bottom. She took friendship as the second prize claiming that she put her feelings aside. This is just not true. Feelings don't just disappear or even die and they do find ways to show themselves and get noticed. He's playing on her nyteness, her naivety and even her non-confrontational ways  and he's decided to gratify himself at her expense. The situation has blown an old wound wide open and all of her fears about abandonment have come to the fore.
