Batteries - What Are the Revenue Streams?
Batteries can of course participate on the wholesale market. So day ahead and intraday, but they can also go on the frequency containment reserve or FCR and automated frequency restoration reserve or AFR. In Belgium in addition, there is also a capacity remuneration mechanism. Now what we expect over time is that more batteries will come online and some of these revenues will be cannibalized away.
