The Class Dynamic of the Protests in the US
There's a class dynamic that kind of reminds me of occupy in that you have this sort of like kind of tenuous alliance between some parts of the working class and these elite students. But it strikes me that, you know, I mean, this is the sort of defining thing about occupying. It doesn't really seem like that's possible here. The students are segmented. They don't really have a sort of like cohesive social identity that in a way that you could get out of a bunch of people playing in the same place.
