The Pros and Cons of Sharing Large Data Sets
Calckemary: There's been a big movement involving how do we get information out to the public and then also how do we start sharing large data sets with people. So you have to solve a few problems of how to share just massive file sizes, but also how to make sure that that can be actually used by somebody else because it's just so complicated. He says he may be one of two hands worth of electrical engineers that do electrophysiology and awake behaving animals. Calckemary is an assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering at Rice University.
