I Spoke German a Lot Better Than My Classmates.
i spoke german much better than my smikemaer classmates. And i took this a partime position at the winter olympics in 19 72, in japan. They hired me as a interpreter in german for the olympics. When i worked there, i got paid pretty well. Like, for two weeks, i think i got pay, like 600 dollars. But i thought, this is not fair. See, i had a father who could afford to send me to germany for almost year when one dollar cost 360 en. Right now one dollar cost 120 yen. Cat three times as much at those days.
