That's exactly three years to the day that the Prime Minister Boris Johnson abandoned the mitigation strategy and issued a stay at home order for British people. One of the things that triggered that announcement was a report by Professor Neil Ferguson of Imperial College. He said letting the COVID virus spread freely would result in 500,000 deaths. Apparently, that scenario was based on data from Wuhan and Italy. How erratic or how bad you think that modelling was and what affected modelling have?
