What Is the Importance of Orientalism?

The book addresses what it means to be human in the inner post enlightenedment, a secular, o world, secular, globalized world. It's not so much about just correcting a historic, in a kind of orientalistic view about the ideas of the selfh in islam, in islamic tredition. But then the project is a more constructive one. So i was writing as a humble islamic, constructive thinker, living in the west, as a western moslem. And actually, when we said a west, we have to sometime distinguish between the modern western and ta kind of non modern and ancient west. There are a lot of places where you could see
