The Deepest Part of the Ocean
At a thousand meters below the surface of the ocean, light no longer penetrates and the water hovers at temperatures just above freezing. The deepest part of the ocean is called the hadel zone, from six thousand meters to 11 thousand meters deep. There's so much of the ocean we haven't really mapped, and so many animals that we think are out there that we've never identified to species. And they're just it's so vast and it's do not stagnant. Only three people have ever reached this deepest parts of the ocean while 12 have walked on the surface ofthe moon.
