Helping People Affected by the Grassroots Quake in Turkey and Syria

The official death toll from the devastating earthquake that struck Turkey and neighbouring Syria has risen to more than 11,200. DEC charities and their local partners are among the first responders giving urgent help. Immediate priorities are search and rescue, medical treatment for the injured, shelter for those who've lost their homes,. heating in safe spaces, blankets, warm clothes and ensuring people have food and clean water.
