I was reading some Sebastian Ruder has a blog post about like multilingual and low resource NLP. And there was actually some really recent work on expanding pre-trained models to thousands more languages via lexicon based adaptation. So it's really interesting to read about that and then kind of look at this lexical borrowing.Yeah, I didn't give up on it too. Even in currently, like in our ongoing work, we have really big language models for English but we still have little resources,. Swahili, Likin, Iran, Damala, Gazi for African languages, for various Indian languages. But we do, we can obtain bilingual dictionaries.
