How Do I Have That Conversation Without Coming Across as Rusty or Aggressive?

How would somebody say, how do I have this conversation without coming across as rude or aggressive? If one of your clients asks you that, how do you respond to that? You always have to go into a situation, any negotiation, really, or any statement of what you want from the fundamental framework of this is about me. And I don't need you for it. All I'm really doing is seeing if you're the person I do it with. So now I don't, I'm not coming from an aggressive place with you. I'm just stating what I want for me.
