Is There a Tension Between Solar and Public Investment?
There seems to be a tension here between technologies and that policy makers just have very different understandings of what technology is ultimately going to pay off. I mean, there's still issues about solar kind of being held back in places because electric utilities don't find it as profitable as other things they might do. And so that's, you know, that came up a couple of times in the 1950s about nuclear, like you said in the 1970s again.
