Karl heimberg: The rise in energy prices is causing at least a gross pause, or possibly a recession on its own. He says hammering demand down to meet a shortage of supply isn't the right policy recommendation. What you want now are zero or negative interest rates to encourage investment and get people to substitute different sources of energy for petra energy. That's what you need. You need low interest rates for that, not higher interest rates.
