A Scientist in the Empire, Chapter Three

The idea is that each chapter kind of zooms in one aspect of the story more closely from the outset. There's an ongoing conflict between those factoryologists who go to workin in indo, china, a ror, africa, and the people who remain back home. The geysen in India are upset because they feel held back and disrespected by their scientific pursuits. They're asking questions about why would you want to be a microbiologist if you can't support your family? You know, we want to be conquerorsn adventurers rather than kind of being emasculated.
