The Gift of Understanding
In the first reading today, you have God who appears to Solomon. And he says, ask me of anything. and Solomon says, I'm young, I'm ruling this country. I don't know how to rule. I need understanding. The second gift of the Holy Spirit is understanding. Understanding is knowing the value of a thing. There's sometimes where we're looking at something and we have no idea what the value is.
