I understand why there are people who view sort of this after the fact editing of Rogan as maybe a slippery slope. I think that's a very important thing to do with the government disingenuous because Spotify is a private company. You know, they do have terms of service just like everybody else in the sense that private companies are allowed to choose what they're going to publish every private company in existence is a censor in that case. The real issue is that Spotify doesn't want to alienate Rogan's audience who sometimes likes it when he says racist and transphobic things or they're on board with the COVID misinformation because they believe it.
