The Wild West of Mastodon

The Mastodon network is powered by something called activity pub so you you follow people. You basically say hey tell me when you update when you post something and then their server like any mouse over I guess Notifies yours when something has been posted. Under the head of course there's a whole Ecosystem of things using that at protocol that activity protocol that pad protocol, right? There's pleroma and there's All kinds of different it has glitch and there's even different families like Miss key and kelp key that are all doing something similar. And somehow they're all Mostly compatible and we're all talking to each other still. It really was We're all having fun doing this and hacking
