How to Make Complex Decisions
The single feature model involves hinging your decision solely on a single factor. And that can be effective in situations where basically a decision is relatively simple, you press for time. It is not generally the best strategy for dealing with complex decisions. An additive feature model involves taking into account all the important features of the possible choices and then systematically evaluating each option.
