Grace and Loyalty Go Together

The word Eucharist is the way some people refer to the Lord's Supper Eucharist. And that's a transliteration of the Greek word for gratitude. In the ancient world the wealthy people would show this kind of grace towards people and in return the people to whom they showed grace would respond with gratitude. So when we take this meal the bread and the cup this is a meal of Thanksgiving where we are thanking God for his gift of salvation. But not just in sharing the Bread and Cup but in everything that we do. We are to respond to the grace of God with gratitude.
