The Differences Between Adjectives and Verbs in Mandarin Chinese
In Mandarin Chinese, the property predication construction in a statement requires a degree adverb by default. Whereas with action, the action predication, you aren't required to have adegree adverb. So there is a difference there between what we might call adjectives and what we might called verbs. It's just not the same difference that you see in English.
