I'm always struck by the fact that this is an argument that actually should be a left-wing argument. It's an argument about the enduring impact of the worst chapters of the mark in history and the way that it continuing to shape a present. So instead, we get a much less intellectually rigorous account of what the actual problem is. But let me push you on just something where I'm unclear about where you stand because you've said two things that intimate a slightly different position. You're saying that there are certain positions that you cannot take in polite society without a fear of cancellation. And that you're one of the few who have.
