The conversation about what to do about it is a separate conversation from the expression of frustration, in grief, in terror, about having experienced it. My only hesitation is whether or not talking about the tragedy in a certain kind of way is done to stigmatize the community as a whole and justify a response that does nothing tomelior at the root causes of crime or actually prevent recitivism. And so we need to be having a different kind of conversation if you're genuinely invested in not having black people die. That's what people are against, being punitive without results. Tat makes us a vengeful, vindictive society. I'm outan.
