The Role of Luck in Politics
A lot of your book is about morality and political philosophy. ar trying to grapple with the role of luck in our lives. I would say thatit it shifted my emphasis much more away from what people deserve, and more towards what we owe each other. i think many of our conversations would be better off politically if we were less oriented around how can we parse out the deserving poor from the undeserving poor. And thought more about, if this was my kid, would this be the structure i had won for them?
