The Israeli Solution to Terror

Omar Khatan, 27, a father of two children who worked as an electrician for the local municipality was killed when about 400 Israeli settlers marched down to a messiah's main road. It's not clear if he was shot by IDF troops or settlers, both stormed the village carrying weapons. Under international law, Israeli settlement were illegal. However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced plans to build a thousand new housing units in the settlement of Eli. His right wing government is dominated by settler leaders and supporters. And his statements came just days after the government gave far right finance minister, Bezalal Smotridge, sweeping powers to exploit the construction of illegal settlements.
