The Demilitarized Zone

Korea was divided into a north half and a south half in 1953. To separate the countries, leaders set up a demilitarized zone or DMZ. It was supposed to be a temporary boundary until Korea united again. But you know what they say: There's nothing so permanent as a temporary arrangement.
