Doctors, Do You Need to Write in Your Diaries?
The hand written notes remind me that my patients have a life beyond their ice room, filled with moments and people that are important to them. I hope i teach on rounds to the medical students in the interns or residents, that i say, you need to write in this diary for yourself too. It's part of the way you serve other people, is by getting connected at this level, not just writing for an antbiotic.
