The Future of Agriculture

I used to see farmers as those who would toil all day long in the fields. But now, I think our generation of farmers are not farmers in the traditional sense. To them, rolling up their sleeves and trouser legs will soon become history. We often joke that our employees can wear their leather shoes to work in the fields if they choose so. They drive their machines there and can finish the farm work without getting out of the driver's cabin. Since 2022, some provinces in China have started to confer professional titles to agricultural workers.
