i wanto trap on the obsoles thing too. When i was an inturn i'm a prodect designer, and so when i got to work for a summer at a place called brook stevens. He's the one who coined the phrase planned obsolescence. And actually what they were doing was trying to make a tenth anniversary, a revision of understanding media. An obsoles they found that every technology that comes around brings something back from the past.
