How to Combat the Speculative Cycle of Tokens
The creator is now the platform and like Web3 engenders this almost like platformless world where assets can travel. I think that has also been a liability for a lot of projects that have launched tokens or tried to do air drops or incentivize loyalty. And they're users with tokens because those tokens are tradable for US dollars. Users can just exit, take their points, trade them for another asset and then totally exit from that product. It's led to lots of speculation on emerging ecosystems or creators that isn't necessarily sustainable as it's not backed by true enduring usage.
