The Church Committee for the Weaponization of Government
The House of Representatives passed a bill to reinstate the church committee, which was created after the Watergate scandal in 1975. The new committee would have subpoena power over the intelligence community and try to look at domestic intelligence gathering on American citizens. This is more driven from a deficit, hockery mindset where across the board these things should be intentional, he says.
