The most successful systematic traders are those that are running systems that make some kind of sense. This gets right at the psychology level, the human behavior level of all of us. We're not exactly rational and there are some very common sense reasons for systems to work. The second aspect that people at both end of the spectrum have is they stick to their systems. They believe in them.
