He got into the science of climate change and decided that near term, sort of societyl collapse is imminent. And so there's the potential for these collapses happening. In some cases, amd actually talking aboct, transformative adaptation as a kind of slightly nicer spin on deep adaptation. If cieties are going to collapse, we need to adapt the impacts of climate changes and the breakdown of ecology as well an our ecological systems. We need to adapt t that stuff t we need toadapt in ways which are transformative.
